Plastic slat floor
Plastic slatted flooring is usually used for farrowing and rearing, provided that manure baths and sewage drains are arranged under the floor. In addition to the fact that with such a floor in the cage it will be much cleaner, the design of the plastic floor in terms of the surface structure and the width of the slots avoids injury to the limbs of the piglets, and the low thermal conductivity contributes to the fact that the piglets will not freeze during the cold period and will not receive heat stress.
A plastic floor is made of copolymer-polypropylene, which has a high climatic (does not lose performance at temperatures from -30 to +140) and chemical resistance (to organic solvents and oxidants, and therefore does not emit harmful impurities), as well as high wear resistance and impact resistance...
The dimensions of one slab are 600x400mm, the slabs are stacked on metal or fiberglass girders.
